LiLo’s nude Playboy shoot inspired by her idol Marilyn Monroe

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner has revealed that Lindsay Lohan’s naked Playboy shoot was inspired by veteran star Marilyn Monroe.

The troubled actress - who was released from jail on Monday after serving just four-and-a half hours of a 30-day sentence - has posed naked for the iconic men’s magazine and Hefner says it pays homage to her idol - who died in August 1962 aged 36 from a suspected drugs overdose.

“It’s a classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe, a portion of which was the original playmate in the very first issue of Playboy,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling The Insider.

Hugh also confirmed that that the 25-year-old actress-singer has bared it all for the shoot but it has been done in a “classy” way.

“Oh, yes, she’s naked. And classy, very classy,” he added.

Lindsay was initially offered 750,000 dollars to strip off for the publication, but signed the deal only when she was offered 1 million dollars.
