Rishi, Naseer and Boman in ‘Shaukeen’ remake!

Who says boys have all the fun. Yes, we are talking about the seasoned Bollywood actors, who are all set to play dirty on silver screen.

Remember Basu Chatterjee’s ‘Shaukeen’ (1982), where Ashok Kumar, Utpal Dutt and AK Hangal portrayed three lecherous old men? Buzz has it that Rohit Roy has roped in Rishi Kapoor, Naseeruddin Shah and Boman Irani to play three aging lothario in a remake of Basu Chatterjee’s classic.

Talking to a daily, Rishi Kapoor confirmed news and said, "Yes, I`ve agreed to do this project. It is being directed by Ronit`s brother Rohit. I chase Ronit in ‘Student Of The Year’ and Rohit has been chasing me for this film. I`ve finally said yes. Boman, Naseer and I play three 60-plus men not only chasing girls, but also having a good time in life before we part ways.”

When enquired about the script, Rishi added, “In this day and age, ‘Shaukeen’ wouldn`t work. It`s less ‘Shaukeen’ now and more ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.’ It`s the story of three senior guys out to do the things they never dared to before.”
