Vidya to go down South with ‘The Dirty Picture’!

Vidya Balan, who has shed her girl-next-door image with her `Ooh La La` avatar in ‘The Dirty Picture’ is all set to stir South India too. Since the film is based on the late south sex-symbol Silk Smitha, the region will certainly prove to be a good market for the flick.


The good news is that the filmmakers have decided to dub it in Tamil and Telugu languages for the fans down South. 

As reported by a daily, a source associated with the film said, "It makes sense to cater to the South audiences as well because Silk Smitha was a huge sensation in South Indian films. Perhaps they would be able to relate to the film more easily than the Bollywood belt". 

The film has been the talk of the town since its first promo was released. Vidya Balan is looking hot and sizzling in skimpy retro girl clothes and has also gained oodles of weight to look voluptuous. 

Balan has left no stone unturned to establish her image as a hot actress with this project. 

‘The Dirty Picture’ is clearly one of the most anticipated films of the year. And Vidya’s bold act makes it even more interesting to wait for.

Vidya being from South herself adds more elements to the film being recognized by audiences down there. It has also been shot in Ramoji Rao Studios in Hyderabad too.
