Rihanna under fire for new raunchy video

R&B star Rihanna has been targeted by anti-rape campaigners over concerns she is portrayed as an object to be possessed by men in her controversial new `We Found Love` music video.

Rape support workers in Britain are fuming over Rihanna`s latest release, branding the video a disgrace and questioning the message it sends to impressionable fans, reported Daily
Star online.

"Rihanna`s new video is a disgrace. It sends the message that she is an object to be possessed by men, which is disturbingly what we see in real violence cases," said Eileen Kelly of the Rape Crisis Centre.

Rihanna`s gritty promo sees her fight with her lover in a scene echoing her notorious 2009 bust-up with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. In the clip, Rihanna`s rumoured real-life beau Dudley O`Shaughnessy spanks her and tattoos the word `mine` on her backside, reported Contactmusic.

The `Umbrella` hitmaker split from Brown after he attacked her in his sports car, leaving her battered and bruised. He was later convicted of assault.
